Here’s the deal. We had a great year last and want to get the word out even more.

Love INC of Lorain County has been mobilizing the church for over 20 years to serve the poor and needy.

So…a little fun…

Dear Prayer Partners, Here are this weeks prayer requests. We appreciate your continued prayer for all of our needs.

Situation: A young married couple recently turned their lives over to Christ. They were doing well, but within a week he lost his job and they wrecked their car. They are behind in their rent a month and a half. It is difficult for them to attend church without a car. Sometimes they have a ride.

Prayer Focus: Please pray for them to grow in the Lord, and that He will provide for their needs. Pray for a good job for him. Pray for a vehicle for them also.


Situation: This woman returned to church recently and has been helping others, while in need herself. She is in Section 8 housing and must move from the house. She has raised her children, and they are not able to help her. She is in need of appliances and furniture for her new home.

Prayer Focus: Please pray for her to grow into a deeper relationship with the Lord. Pray for His peace for her and a smooth move to her new place. Pray that her small business thrives.

Dear Prayer Partners, Here are this week’s requests.

Situation: This single mother of two is currently unemployed and is facing electrical shutoff, is behind on rent, needs 2 tires for her car, and needs coats for her children. Her son has a rare cancer and her daughter has asthma. She did attend a church, but is not now.

Prayer Focus: Please pray for her relationship with the Lord to be what He wants it to be. Pray for healing for her children and for God’s provision for them all.

Situation: A woman with three children is an active member of a church. She is going to nursing school, and will finish soon. Her primary source of income, child support, was not received this month. She cannot pay her rent or utilities.


Prayer Focus: Please pray for her to grow in Christ and find her strength and peace in Him. Pray that provision will come through child support and housing (Section 8 vouchers). Pray for encouragement from friends and family, along with help. Pray that she will be able to finish her schooling.

Dear Prayer Partners, Here are this week’s needs thank you again for your prayers.

Situation: A single teenage mother of an infant has no income. She is living with her parents. She called for formula for her baby. We provided a gift card and prayed with her. She had a meeting this week for help with housing and food. She has no church.

Prayer Focus: Please pray that she will come to know Jesus as her Savior and Lord. Pray that He will provide housing and food and all her needs, as well as her baby’s needs.

Situation: A middle-aged woman has been in the hospital three times in the past six months for asthma and COPD. She has an adult son living with her, but he is not helping. She works but is unable physically to caulk windows and seal doors. She is asking for help and will pay for materials. She has no church, since her home church closed. She is seeking a new one.

Prayer Focus: Please pray that help for her will come from our local churches. Pray that she has a personal relationship with the Lord and that she finds a good church.

Situation: A single mom with two children lost her mother to cancer over a six week period of time. She took time off work to care for her mother, then she was hospitalized due to stress. She is now having difficulty with Section 8 housing program being transferred from her mother to her. She needs help with rent. She has no church.

Prayer Focus: Please pray that she comes to know Jesus personally. Pray for her to get the Section 8 voucher for housing. Pray that she and her children will be cared for by our Lord.

Dear Prayer Partners, Here are our Prayer Concerns for this week. Thank you all so much for your faithfulness in prayer for these clients and for the needs we share with you. You are such a blessing to us at Love INC, and we are sure you are a blessing to our God also. May He shower you with His blessings as you pray.

Situation: A single mother of five children, the latest is a newborn, called for baby items and diapers. We were able to match her up with a couch and love seat also that someone had just donated. She does have a church.

Prayer Focus: Pray that her relationship with the Lord is strong and that He will provide all that she needs. Pray that her children will grow up in Christ.

Situation: A stay-at-home mom of six children has been through a painful divorce. Her oldest daughter has stage-four cancer. This mom has many needs. She needs money to pay bills and to buy gas to get to doctor appointments. They do not have a church.

Prayer Focus: Please pray for them to come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Pray for her needs to be met by Him and His Church.

Situation: There was a fire in Wilkes Villa area of Elyria. It involved about eight units.

Prayer Focus: Pray that the people who suffered this loss will have their needs met. Pray that our God’s people will demonstrate His love to them.
